browsing not buying.

*

I have been trying to be really good this month and not spend my money, i've been so used to getting paid and then buying things that it has actually proved quite a challenge, however, I have managed to restrain myself and have only bought a couple of little bits and pieces! Even thought i'm not spending money, it doesn't mean that I haven't spent 90% of my time looking at items I want to buy and new products I want to try out so I have put together a little mini wishlist of things i've been looking at and lusting after lately.

simply beautiful (collection).

As I mentioned in my previous post, another brand in my house that is good to use on sensitive skin is SBC (simply beautiful collection). I was going to include this brand in my last post but they have so many wonderful products I thought it deserved one of it's own :). The first thing I ever noticed about this brand was the gorgeous luminous colours of the products! It's like having a little rainbow in my bathroom, but the more I looked into the products the more I realised how amazing they were for different skin problems.

sensitive skin drama ft liz earle & simple.

Ever since I can remember I have suffered with dry, sensitive skin, it's an absolute nightmare and anyone who suffers from any type of skin condition has my fullest sympathy. When I was younger I used to just think "there's nothing I can do about it" but as I got older and got more interested in health and beauty I started looking into products that could help. Fortunately my mum suffers from dry skin too so has always given me great advice as to what products to look for and where to find them.

jaceys clothing.

I have just received my two-piece set that I ordered from Jaceys Clothing and I have absolutely fallen in love with it! Jaceys Clothing is a Bristol based company selling handmade clothing, the stock on their website is mainly a selection of two-pieces and co-ords but they also sell some of the co-ord pieces individually and stock some over-size tops and super cute scrunchies too!
I ordered the elephant two-piece as it appealed to me straight away and am (hopefully) going to be ordering the paint print set very soon as well. The fit is perfect and the material is thin and airy but also of really good quality, it’s so comfy and a lot of their items are definitely versatile, they would look great as a day look or could easily be dressed up for a cute evening look. Their stock comes in a variety of different prints, all of which are gorgeous and unique.

home inspirations and wishful thinking.

Me and my partner have just been approved for a mortgage (yay!) and are currently in the fun process of looking for houses and thinking about interior design (the fun bit before all the paperwork!) and when I say ‘we’ it’s basically me coming home every day and talking about what I want and Jake going along with it.
I’ve been looking at a lot of websites and catalogues trying to get some inspiration ready for when we find a place and think I’ve kind of decided on what type of style I want to go for, I haven’t set anything in stone as I know that if I get too hung up on a specific design I won’t be happy unless I get it!

elsie belle jewellery.

Recently I have been spending a bit of time strolling around Bristols' markets and have come across a beautiful jewellery stand called 'Elsie Belle'! It was founded in 2004 by Liz Fennings and they sell handmade jewellery, charms and trinkets of all different shapes and sizes and definitely have a style that would suit anyone.

Elsie Belle jewellery has been featured in a number of fashion and lifestyle publications including Vogue, Grazia, Look and Cosmopolitan and they have a range of celebrity fans too such as Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton, Mary Portas, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott and Dawn Porter! I have absolutely fallen in love with this stall and cannot stop buying jewellery from them at the moment, for me it's a lovely little treat to pick something up from there as a lot of the time when i'm in town I browse for hours but never actually find anything I want to buy. It's so disheartening coming back from a 5 hour shop with nothing to show for it but I always know I will find something at Elsie Belle to take home with me!

nike+ running app and cheap workout clothes.

After hearing a few people talking about this over the past couple of months i decided to download the Nike+ running app and am pleasantly surprised at how good it is for a free app. There’s a variety of things you can do on it, there’s your basic just ‘track my run’ which, if you enable GPS, will track where you ran and analyse which areas you ran the fastest, how long it took, calories burned and average minutes per mile, you can also give feedback on how you felt after your run. This has been so useful to me because I have felt like I’m making no progress but when you look at your averages on your activity page you will realise that you are getting faster and more consistent! There is a coach, challenges and a friend finder too.
